Hello!

Fonts are interesting, not only in themselves, but also in how people view them. Some people simply don’t notice fonts and couldn’t care less. Others are passionate about them. Seriously, don’t even get people started on Comic Sans ;)

But that leads me to our questions for today…

What fonts do you love/hate? Which do you use most often? And which do you use for what?

I’d love to hear your answers in the comments below (or share over Twitter & Facebook) and be sure to take a look at the list of great job opportunities below.

Have a wonderful day!

Desirée

Hello!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I managed to spend time with family, go on a mini road-trip, and get LOTS of CAC work done.

Did you head to a cottage or take a trip? Spend some time with family? Perhaps attend an event? Maybe work on some of your art or projects?

My question today is…

How did you spend the long weekend? Did you do anything artistic or creative?

I’d love to hear what you were up to in the comments below (or share over Twitter & Facebook) and be sure to take a look at the long list of job opportunities below.

Remember to also check out today’s list of calls for submissions & auditions which will be up right after this post.

Have a wonderful day!

Desirée

Hello!

Have you ever experienced that “I wish *I* had thought of that!” feeling? Perhaps it’s a piece of art or line of a song. Maybe an idea for a story or theme for a play. I’m sure at one point or another we all have felt something like this.

So today my question is…

What is the one piece of work (art, song, book, etc.) by someone else that you wish YOU had created?

I’d love to hear your answers in the comments below (and we always get plenty of response over Twitter and Facebook as well). And be sure to also check out the great list of job opportunities I have for you today.

Have a wonderful day!

Hello!

I tried to take some time off yesterday after weeks of pushing myself too hard and too far. Relaxing doesn’t always come easy for me and when I know there’s work to do, I can’t seem to chill out at all. What about you?

What are your tips for allowing yourself the proper downtime?

How do you get yourself to relax?

Have a wonderful day!

Hello!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Are you inspired to start another week? Does your working environment help with that?

I love to see where people work and where they create their art. I’m currently without an official office or studio and it’s driving me nuts! What about you?

Where do you create your art?

What does your studio / office look like?

We’d love if you’d show us a pic of your space in our Studios & Work Spaces album. And be sure to tell us a bit about it!

And, of course, we have a great list of jobs for you to start the week off with.

Have a wonderful day!

Hello!

It’s June 1st and summer feels like it’s already in full swing in my neighbourhood. I’ve been taking full advantage of the beautiful weather by enjoying long walks to get inspiration, reading at the park, and working at my desk with the windows wide open and the gorgeous breeze coming in. What about you?

How does your routine change in the summer?

Do your work habits change? Are there certain types of artistic practices you only do in the summer? Do you get involved with any events?

Let us know in the comments below after you check out the list of today’s opportunities.

Have a wonderful day!
