Have you checked out our groups lately? Yesterday we mentioned Sketch Artists, Painters, Sculptors, and Poets and Gobs of Paint.

But that’s not nearly all! Check out:

Promoting Arts - “Are you an arts promoter? Interested in promoting talent and artistic excellence? Do you write copy, press releases or reviews? Are you into arts management, exhibitions or marketing? Are you interested in seeing how promotion is done? Join Promoting the Arts.”

Independent Filmmakers - “Independent Filmakers! Join our group to network, share resources and discuss the film industry.”

Be sure to join the groups and leave a comment and/or link to your work!

And then take a look at the awesome list of Canadian art jobs below.

Have you heard?

We’d love to feature your work on CAC – just become a member (for FREE) and join the Canada Arts Connect Members Art Flickr Group!

In the past, we had great success featuring work from the artists that make up the CAC community, so we’ve decided to start again. The CAC job lists and calls for submissions & auditions lists (which are seen by thousands of artistic professionals each and every day) are a great opportunity to showcase our talented members!

We’d love to feature all kinds of work - from photographers to painters to accessories designers to landscape designers.

Find out more by clicking here.

And, of course, the opportunities don’t end there. We also have an amazing list of jobs for you below.

Have a wonderful day!

Welcome to the new CAC website!
February 1, 2012

After months of hard work, we’re excited to introduce to you our new website, logo, and memberships!

The new website still offers our daily job lists, weekly lists of calls for submissions and auditions, as well as individual listings. It now also features a social networking area that allows our readers to connect, share, and promote. With two levels to choose from, our members can decide what best suits their needs.

We also have a new look to go along with our new website. Designed by Golden Spruce Entertainment, our logos for both our main website and magazine website reflect the unique artistic direction Canada Arts Connect is heading in.

Along with these changes, Canada Arts Connect Magazine has recently launched new columns ranging from managing your artistic career to feminism in metal music.

“We listened to what our community wants in order to provide them with the resources and opportunities they need to succeed in their artistic careers. We hope that these new steps will allow our readership to connect and expand.” – Desirée Ossandon, Executive Director and Editor-in-Chief.

  • Sign up for our new memberships! Standard memberships are FREE!

We’re still working on setting up the little details and working out any glitches. Be sure to explore the new website and check back to keep up on all the exciting developments!
