Great Big Theatre Company is looking for Theatre Coaches for its summer Theatre Arts Day Camps programs for 2013. There are approximately 75 positions available for a two-month term during July and August, at 43 locations in the GTA and southwest Ontario. This is a salaried position ideal for those who enjoy working with children and young people (ages 6 to 14) , and are qualified to do so, and who also have some theatrical experience.
Completion of, or enrollment in, a university-level drama program is an asset, but not a requirement. A valid police check is a requirement. CPR / First-aid accreditation is also an asset, as is having your own transportation.

BILINGUAL CULTURE DAYS ANIMATOR/COORDINATOR

Culture Days is a national volunteer-driven, grassroots movement led by arts and culture-aficionados and the arts and culture sectors in collaboration with municipalities, public funding agencies, provincial governments and the private sector. Now entering its fourth year, Culture Days will take place September 27 – 29, 2013 and will offer and promote free hands-on and behind the scenes cultural activities to the public in communities throughout Ontario and the rest of Canada.

The Culture Days Animator/Coordinator will be a resource for Ontario artists and arts organizations who are considering participating and/or coordinating activities for the 2013 Culture Days event.
