Welcome Eugenia Catroppa to the Canada Arts Connect Team!

Canada Arts Connect would like to welcome Eugenia Catroppa to the team!

Eugenia has previously worked with CAC designing our wonderful logo. She is now coming on board as our graphic designer in order to handle the many upcoming projects that we have planned for this year.

Eugenia Catroppa is a Graphic/Fashion Designer, Mask Maker, and Visual Artist. She graduated from both York University’s Fine Arts B.F.A Programme and George Brown College’s Fashion Design and Techniques Diploma Programme. She is the Founder/Artistic Director of the WHEEL Art and Music for Pagan Toronto and her latest fashion collection “Priestess Nouveau” will be launching this Fall 2013. Fonts are interesting, not only in themselves, but also in how people view them. Some people simply don’t notice fonts and couldn’t care less. Others are passionate about them. Seriously, don’t even get people started on Comic Sans ;)

Sorry for the lack of lists last week, friends! After considering various options to solve our website problems, CAC has opted to move to our very own server (the move will be happening a.s.a.p.). It seems that with our incredible growth over the past while (including over 1000 members in the few short months since we’ve introduced that feature, as well as an ever-expanding readership, content, and resources), we needed to make the investment to keep CAC running as best as we can.

This change means that the big plans that were going to be launched on October 1st will instead gradually be announced over the next few weeks and months. Be sure to check back daily so you don’t miss any of the exciting new changes and amazing opportunities!

Hello!

Yesterday was a big day for a lot of us as many headed back to school and those of us getting back to work faced a new day, week, month and season all at once. As we all delve into the dizzying pace of daily life, it’s important to slow down every once in a while and perhaps even do something fun.

Tonight, after I get all my work done, I plan to watch a funny movie. So my question today is…
