Canadian Arts Jobs – 06/09/12

September 6, 2012 in Jobs by Desirée Ossandon

Hello!

As you may have noticed, we’re still having website issues from time to time. With CAC growing as quickly as it is (which is awesome!), our host is struggling to keep up. If you have any problems, please try links a second time if they don’t work the first time around and although the site can be slow right now, it will work eventually if you just give it a little time. We’re sorry for any inconvience and thank you to everyone for being so patient!

So this brings us to my question for the day…

How do you keep focused when things don’t go your way?

I’d love to hear your answer in the comments below (or share over Twitter & Facebook) and be sure to take a look at the great list of job opportunities below.

Have a wonderful day!

Desirée

Canadian Arts Jobs – 08/27/12

August 27, 2012 in Jobs by Desirée Ossandon

Hello!

This weekend I found myself contemplating a move and although I’m not sure if/where/when it will happen, it had me thinking about the flexibility of my current job and lifestyle. If I wanted to, I could relocate to practically anywhere in the country (or beyond, I suppose).

So today my question is…

Why do you live/work where you do?

I’d be really interested to read your answers in the comments below (perhaps you can help me make up my mind on whether to stay, go, and where that might be). And be sure to take a look at the great list of opportunities on today’s list.

Have a wonderful day!

Hello!

Monday is a great time to check out what’s coming up on your schedule to see if there’s any deadlines to consider. It’s also a good time to think about how you ensure you’re going to meet those deadlines. What are your tips for keeping on schedule and hitting your deadline?

The best way to handle a tight deadline is to _______________?

I’d love to hear your answer in the comments below and perhaps you’ll pick up some good tips from our other members/readers.

Have a wonderful day!

Here are three more you should check out:

Your favourite contemporary artists - “Who are your favourite contemporary artists? Do they influence your work?”

Collaborations - “Have a project, but need a partner? Have an idea, but want to connect with a team to work with? Let us know what you’re up to and what/who you’re looking for!”

Be sure to join in the forum topics and leave a comment and/or link to your work!
