CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: Sculptors wanted for Castlegar Sculturewalk (Open)

Castlegar Sculpturewalk is now accepting applicants from sculptors to take part in our 2013 event. Now in its third successful year, Sculpturewalk is a year-long outdoor exhibit of original sculpture by local and international artists, located in beautiful Castlegar, British Columbia. The sculptures are owned by the artists and loaned to the exhibit, where they are available for purchase, lease, and are open for public voting. The winner of the People’s Choice Award will be purchased by The City of Castlegar for permanent display, and cash prizes are also awarded. Transportation costs up to $500 are covered.
The application deadline is October 31, 2012.
Castlegar Sculpturewalk partners with the International Sculpturewalk network which includes Sioux Falls (South Dakota), Mankato (Minnesota), Eau Claire (Wisconsin) and Mason City (Iowa).
