Hello!
It’s been a hot summer so far, which can sometimes make work difficult. Brutal heat and humidity can equal stifling offices/sets/studios, cranky co-workers, and materials that refuse to set and dry.
How do you cope and work through the heat?
Have a wonderful day!
Desirée

I’ve had heat exhaustion in the past so I’m careful to watch for it when it’s hot/humid. To cope with the heat and still be productive, I have a portable AC unit in the studio to help keep temps in my comfort zone. I also wake very early and go to studio between 5-6 am and work till about 11am. With the ACunit on I can work in the studio all day but often head for home and AC cooled apt to Fo paperwork and computer work.
Before I had AC I would use fans to keep air moving and feeling cooler. As long as I can feel air moving on me I can keep working n
Open the window! Just kidding, looking at the painting.
AC, work in a way you can relax more. I find lots of people leads to more heat, so find a relaxing place where you can work in peace, otherwise everyone is irritable.
Portable aircon is a good idea if possible, fans etc, all help. Don’t underestimate changing your working hours as well to suit the coolest times if you can be more productive.
