Go Fly a Kite Productions is currently seeking both Actors and Actresses to appear in the production of Alien/Predator the Musical appearing in the 2012 Ottawa Fringe Festival

Go Fly a Kite Productions is an Amateur Theatre Company created in 2011.  The first production for the company was Open Bar the Musical in 2011 at the Ottawa Fringe Festival.  The show was an original musical, and generated a profit as a BYOV

The 2012 production is Alien Predator the Musical a satire/homage to the adventure movies made popular in the 1980’s.  The style is meant to be similar to Evil Dead the Musical, using a similar story ark to the genre while examining some of the themes that make the fun.  The production is a part of the 2012 Ottawa Fringe Festival for 2012.

All participants will participate in a profit sharing agreement with the company meaning that everyone will receive percentage of any profits generated from the Alien Predator Production.  Rehearsals will start in earnest in late April with periodic rehearsals taking place prior to rehearsals being fully launched.

Audition expectations:  Each person audition will expected to perform at least one song a cappella, have a reading prepared, and perform a reading from the script.

• Scientist – Male, mix between Sheldon Cooper, Spengler character
• Commando’s/Marines – Mix of roles for Males and Females
• Alien Predator – Male, someone who is physically strong and imposing
